Privacy Policy

Who can play

The game is for people aged 13 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child under 13 has used the game, email us and we'll delete their data.

What we store

• An account code: a random code created in your browser. We store a scrambled (hashed) version of it, not the code itself, along with your progress: coins, cosmetics, level, XP, ranked rating and daily challenge progress.
• The name you choose and your scores, shown on public leaderboards.
• Gameplay data needed to run races and catch cheating (positions, heights and scores during a run), plus records of disqualifications and player reports.
• Purchases: if you buy something, our payment provider (Stripe) processes the payment. We receive a payment reference and what you bought. We never see or store your card details. See Stripe's privacy policy.
• Technical data: like any website, our hosting provider may log IP addresses for security and abuse prevention.

Your browser also stores your settings and progress locally (localStorage).

What we don't do

We don't sell your data, and we don't ask for your real name, email, address or phone number to play.

Where it's kept

Data is stored with our hosting providers: Render (game server) and Upstash (database).

How long

Progress is kept while the game is running. Ask us to delete it at any time by emailing spyrotndmedia@gmail.com with your account code.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to see, correct or delete your data. Email spyrotndmedia@gmail.com .
